Donations Very Much Appreciated!

Hello Class 4-316 parents,

Below is a list of items that would help with the smooth functioning of your child's classroom. Big or small, these items help facilitate learning and enrich your child's day.  If you are able to give, we would be very appreciative.

Meet the Table Cans

The red table is called Lychee. Lychee is quite the bookworm. She spent most of her summer reading novels. When she wasn't reading she was talking about reading with her friends. They liked comparing the characters in their books. Lychee liked when the characters were  similar even though the stories were so different. Lychee looks forward to September!

The blue table is called Coconut Milk. Coconut Milk has had an awesome summer playing on several sports teams. She was on a boxing team, a touch-football team, and a tennis team. Though she wasn't the star athlete on every one of her teams, she loved helping her teammates. She now hopes to help the blue table, Team Coconut Milk, succeed.

The yellow table is called Jackfruit. Jackfruit had a nice, relaxing summer. He mostly watched television and ate yummy snacks. But Jackfruit is not lazy. He works hard during the winter months shoveling neighbors' driveways. So in the summer, it's relax time. But he is ready for a great year in our classroom.

The pink table is called Banana Blossom. Banana Blossom is so happy to live in this amazing city! She spent the summer exploring New York City with her family. She knows there is something to learn around every corner in NYC. Banana Blossom can't wait to learn more about NYC history.

The orange table is called Pickled Jalapeno. Pickled Jalapeno is an avid traveler who brings lessons from all his adventures into all he does. He is most happy being able to express himself through art, using his unique personality to create something meaningful. He cannot wait to show off his art skills.

Mangosteen is the name of the green table. Mangosteen loves being in nature. There is nothing more exciting to him than breathing fresh air and hunting for different plants. He keeps a journal and sketches the ones he finds. Mangosteen found 39 different plants over the summer! He can't wait to check out our classroom plants soon.

The 'orange-red with the dot' table is called Olive. Olive loves technology! She enjoys staying connected to friends and family online. She also loves learning and creating with a computer too. But she is always safe when using the internet. Olive can't wait to use technology in the classroom.
